Notice the wording "indicates"  :)    But still if the NDP wants to move ahead in Ontario it's a no brainer with voters that normally would not look at them; non union ppl that is.  :P

$178 for two cars and a house in Guelph. The cars and house are with different companies so in theory there is another few %  on the table somewhere.

When we moved to Canada in 1975 our insurance cost for a new Pinto was $123 a YEAR.  I think we were even covered against exploding gas tanks.

I don't say this often but "Vive le Québec!"

I bet income tax time yields a less patriotic response.  That low insurance ain't for nothing.

carcrazy, actually call some places...online quotes are always higher.  I have a broker who looks around for me every 2-3 years.  I had Johnson's (part of unifund) and now have Chieftain (part of dominion)

Both companies offer 1 accident or ticket forgiveness.  My 140 ticket that actually showed up on my record as 3 points and 125KM/H didn't touch my rates at all.  In fact, I actually went down a little bit over those three years (26-29 years old).

We now have two cars (2010 WRX, 2008 SX4) and house all fully insured for $293/month

Meh, more affordable house prices more than makes up for higher income tax. Oh, and so does pretty much free daycare for my daughter.

You get what you pay for. Quebec pays more, but they get a lot of extra services the RoC doesn't.

If I made insurance payments they wouldn't be much more than yours. I'm as happy with Sask Gov Insurance as you are with the Quebec version.

I just got an online quote from TD for my 2005 Mazda5 GT.
2774/year or 231/month. State Farm looks like bargain now.

My BMW is $96/mo fully covered with TD, and the van is ~$85
Driving record? Age? Teenage drivers in the household?
