Except for when the pulled out the 2.0L Motor and replaced it with a more torquey 2.2L unit.  Not a big deal to most but some purists weren't happy.

I drove both and will take the F22C (2.2) for daily driving any day.

Great vid, thanks for posting it Ron.  What he says from 9:30 to 9:55 or so is exactly what I love about this car.  Back to the basics, and back to a "driver's car".  Love it.  It's exactly the reason why I would take this in a heartbeat over some of the higher powered cars out there like the Genesis and Mustang.  Oh, and I think it sounds pretty damn awesome as well.

Actually Subaru is cool depends what they do.

When they did the STi Launch they did it at Calabogie and just told us Ottawa guys to show up.  So we all did and made Chris write the article :P.

I'm hoping they do it at Calabogie, manufacturers are choosing it over Mosport because it's safer and has better facilities.

That is what happened with Montreal, and I got to know them pretty well so yeah, I think we could all go  :)

Got to know them did you?  That's their job man.  You go to events they act like your friend and then after the event that's it LOL.  That's kind of the way it works.

For the most part they have an "A" list and invite those people to most of the events.  The way it is suppose to work is the Editor gets ALL the invites and the dishes them out to whom he believes should cover that event.  There are some guys that just started writing but they work for The Star so they go to the BIG events because the Star gets invites to those (like Japan trips and stuff). 

We don't get those invites period.  For the most part Paul gets all the invites for autos and he just goes himself.  If he doesn't feel like it, he may ask Grant to go, and if Grant doesn't feel like it, Chris or I are next on the list.

If Paul didn't work for us we may not get any invites.  Well Greg gets some but Paul gets most.

I'm going to Winnipeg in March, nobody wanted to freeze their ass off LOL
