Saw a 2003ish Jetta burnt to a crisp on the 401 Monday.  Is that the wink times 10?

LOL our civic third brake light burnt out recently too.  Of course I replaced it, just like with my VW's lights.  It comes down to laziness imo.

Slightly off topic, but what is up with the front headlight turning off on Dodge (all Chrysler?) cars when the turn signal is on?

They say it is for safety.  With the Daytime Running Lights always on I guess some people couldn't see the turn signal was also on.  A lot of LED equipped cars are doing this now as well like the Audis.

I was following a Golf the other day and noticed it had no brake light on the passenger side, then we passed it and it only had one headlight as well.

On an aside, I had to disconnect the reverse lamp switch on my Audi, something was shorting when I put it in reverse and blowing a fuse.  Unfortunately this fuse powers all kinds of stuff.  So, no reverse lights now, but mobile again.
