think a 4matic version would be great for our area but maybe they're trying to not cannibalize any GLA sales.

Fixed it for you.
Sadly you may be right.

I'd agree although the B would seem to offer more of the Utility part of a CUV
Old Jag convertible...one itch I won't have to scratch again.

As the 4-matic system fits under the A-class hatch in Europe it ought to fit just fine under the B-class without having to jack it up like the GLA.

Well, the ML is back in my garage. they have a side mirror glass on order (faulty LED light in the glass). I was in a rush and the tech was still writing up his report so I didn't get the full story. I get the impression they had spent hours hunting but didn't find anything definitive with the code that was stored. The SM said he'd call me tomorrow with details.

Poor guy had been chasing his tail all day trying to help a client who was stuck in Florida with a seized caliper on a B200. Benz dealer there had never seen a B class and from the sound of it weren't too interested in helping the guy out.  Of course there are no B class parts in the US system.

Got this yesterday...  :(

Fortunately I pressed the "OK" button and it went away.  :)

Can't be too serious because when something bad happens the whole display turns an alarming red (e.g. flat tire, parking brake on). I bet the CEL is some kind of spectacular red light show.

I guess it will require an unscheduled pit stop. That makes 2 in 24 months. The other was for squeaky brakes.

Your temperature sensor must also be broken. No way it was 5.5deg in Winterpeg.

Yes, that's correct, 'Sport' being the other...both designations are a slight exaggeration. Although sport will allow the engine to run to redline before changing gears which is kind of fun.

Yeah....I got that but would just do a 200 to zero full stop and it would burn off the glaze. I guess enough TT-RS owners got their panties in a knot and a $3000 update was required  :P

I posted this earlier today in a thread over in the buying forum but I thought it only fair to post it here as well. After all, this is where I've chronicled all the issues I've had with the ML.

I got a call from one of the partners in the local MB store today. He knew I had been having a lot of issues with the ML and had been speaking to MB head office about the situation. Mercedes Benz (with some participation from my dealer) is offering to give me a  warranty extension to 6/160 at no charge if I choose to exercise the buyout option on my car. They've also offered to give some (as yet unspecified) 'special" discounts on the purchase or lease of a new MB if I was to choose to go that way......

Seems like a pretty classy gesture on their part.

Nice! Glad to hear they're stepping up and offering you something to keep you as a MB customer.

That's some good news in today's world of cut-throat business practices.

only had the truck for 4 days? and the "media system" (aka stereo with screen) has frozen and rebooted once per day.    I had issues with the I-pod a few weeks ago, going to wipe the I-pod and start fresh to see if that helps.   If not... it'll be a stop at the dealership.

The Tacoma?  Already?

A friend of mine had a 1993 Corolla 4wd wagon that he bought new.  The CD player would regularly swallow discs and not give them back unless you disconnected the battery, reconnected it, and then started the car.  Old - school re-boot.

Disconnecting the battery would drive me crazy. I would splice in 3 push button switches in series and label them "ctrl-alt-del" on the dash.
