We've been shopping for a replacement car for my girlfriend since March and what a headache that's been. We looked at 2007-2009 Hyundai Sonata, 2007 Toyota Corolla, 2008-2010 Hyundai Elantra and several other cars. Nothing but BS when shopping. They want us to pay for certification and/or emission test, some didn't even have all-seasons and were on winter tires that didn't even have minimum tread required for a pass, they didn't want us to inspect the vehicle at our mechanic, etc. As far as I'm concerned (but not required by law, just as long as it's done) if you are selling a car, the seller should certify, emission test and allow a full inspection. That is their responsibility in my opinion and I won't touch the vehicle if those things aren't met. Anyhow, I'm done venting now.

2006 Subaru Impreza Wagon! $13000 before tax, 52,000km and all service records. Purchased at Marino's Fine Cars where she used to work.
She's happy!

Mission accomplished! This weekend I will take this car in to be tinted (35% on the front and 20% rear) and since it already has projectors I will install 6000K Maxcar HID's.
Some pics from the dealership.
