Before we go to BMW again to discuss their "special Price" they say they have for us, we might pop out and test drive the Mercedes C250 4matic sedan (with special edition package and metalic paint).

We priced one out before and it was the same price as the 328 classic (with premium package and auto). The Mercedes is much better equppied. 17 inch wheels, xenon lights, led running lights and seats with some leather in them. The interior looked very nice. I was leaning towards BMW but after thinking about it I might be willing to consider the Mercedes.

Comments on this idea??? Is reliability similar to BMW?
Still looking for a dance with the Debutante eh? Why don't you ask the girl next door G37S for a dance? ;)

My wife simply does not like the G37 too much. It also longer/bigger than the BMW. We both like the compact size of the BMW. If it was my pick alone I would be buying a TSX because of price and reliability and features (a safe bet). But this time the car buying is a team effort and we both have to like it.
Living my BMW dream.

Good luck to you. For most, car shopping with a spouse is like painting a room together. :P

Do you realize that in about 40 years, we'll have thousands of old ladies running around with tattoos?

So true..... :D. It is not easy.

Like car shopping I have done all the painting in the past. As oppose to car shopping there is very little chance of her showing interest in painting in future.

Well got my special price on 328 Xdrive, with premium package and auto tranny.

$41,171 plus taxes. This price inlcudes prep, pdi and AC tax. It is almost a $5000 reduction on prices on BMW web site.

Drove the Mercedes C250 today. Very nice and much better equipped but I still feel more comfortable with the BMW. I just trust the brand a bit more. It is also a more youthful car and I am trying to pretend I am still a kid.

Anyways price seems pretty good. I sent a request for an online quote from another dealer just to see if they can beat it.

I think we might go for it.
