And to think most of us wasted our Canada Day by bbq'ing and drinking beer...

Another cool find!

Cool car!

I love how a lot of the older cars just took the filler pipe and routed directly in the trunk with no care about anything -- so simple.  Now it would be nitpicked to death.
Remember those older VW Bugs where the filler was inside the "trunk" and if you made a mistake filling you could spill a gallon into the trunk...I do.
A common mistake that people make when trying to design something completely foolproof is to underestimate the ingenuity of complete fools.

Great car, Arthur. We forget how simple and basic cars can be.

..and us "HUMANS" too......if you catch us in an unguarded/unpolitically correct MOMENTO Memori..........

Not only that, but the top of the fuel tank is the floor of the trunk!

Although that was quite rightly criticized and Ford eventually stopped doing that.

Well that didn't last long. I sold the Falcon. I got a free Jeep Cherokee so I needed the garage space. I sold it to a really cool gal who seems like the perfect new owner though.

Well considering I made all of $50 on the deal perhaps not worth the bother. One the plus side I didn't lose anything!

I heard from member erietdyk http://www.autos.ca/forum/index.php?action=profile;u=60044 who is the new owner of the Falcon. He bought from the girl I sold to and he might need some parts if you wanted to PM him.
