Monster Tajima Crushes Pikes Record

Did anyone see this on the weekend?  You could only stream it  :(

Monster Tajima owns this place and crushed the 10 minute mark finally in his modified 'SX4'.

Wow, this is a popular thread  ;D   I find Pikes Peak to be some of the best racing as there are no rules in the unlimited class.  It is like Can-Am racing was in the 1960-1970's.  It is wide open and the winner is usually the person who is the most brave.  You could easily die on this course.  Where else are cars well in excess of 1000HP driven around corners.....in dirt....

I don't think Monster gets enough credit for how good of a driver he is.

For many years, I have tossed the idea of running a motorcycle class at Pikes Peak.....I still may someday...

Yeah, I would love to do one of the closer to stock car classes, but even that involves a lot of vehicle prep
