Cross Drilled/Slotted Rotors + Hawk Ceramics
« on: June 24, 2011, 05:35:57 pm »
We just changed out the Front Rotors and Pads on the TSX, with M-Sport Cross Drilled/Slotted rotors + Hawk Performance Ceramic pads.

The car stops REALLY well, much better than stock! However, stopping is quite a bit noisier (especially at the end of a stop, a whirring sound). Is this because of the holes and slots, or the brakes are just new? (less than 50 km).

Noise is completely gone now. Must have been a break in issue. :)

I installed Brembo discs and Hawk (non-ceramic) pads on the Scoob, and it's easily 2x better than OE, and much cheaper.
No place I'd rather be...

Hawk Ceramics were $83 for the front, and the M-Sport Cross Drilled/Slotted front rotors were $99 each.
