Sir Osis, Getting Repetitive Again
« on: June 21, 2011, 11:41:08 pm »
After lots of thinking and discussion, we decided to get another Outback. Went with a different package this time, 3.6R Limited. The 3.6 deals with the engine noise of the old 2.5L, which started to grate after a while, and the tow capacity increases to 1363kg. First car we've had with an automatic since our 1990 Eagle Premier ES. It does have flappy paddles for some reason though.

I just took delivery. I'll get around to some better shots once the rain quits.

Thanks everyone.

So far, I really like the engine. Huge improvement over the 4, very smooth and quiet. Pretty good punch too.

I figured you'd be a little more creative than that. :)

Congrats! I'm sure you'll get lots of years of happy motoring.

Awesome purchase! Really like the new Outback (save for the stupid placement of the blutooth thingy, but whatever).

Your old Outback really looks like the child of your new one. The difference in size is striking!

Nice! The big dog Subi wagon.
Isn't that the model featured in the ad about getting your doors blown off by a "modern couple" and their Cocker Spaniel?

Nice car, I really like the look of the new Outback.  It makes the new legacy look bland.  The 3.6 I hear is a good motor for it too.
