Total Less Price Adjustment Total MSRP Less Price Adjustment Total Less Price Adjustment  $32,324 $31,729

So the price was under $26gs & tax with the old truck traded

The colour is silver and the only box I checked was power pedals, back up sensors.

The SLT is very nice, the 10 way seats with heated seats will be great

Sticking with GM because it had the best deal in a extended cap and my cap will fit the truck, ( cost of $3500 to buy a new cap)

Going 2wd with 3.08 rear end should lower my l/100km

I thought long and hard about a van, Prius v and small pick up

One thing about the pick up is I can keep the equipment in the back cap, which reduces the noise level in the driver seat

Small pick up need new cap  and hard to fit a 6ft ladder inside and not more efficient compared to a large one

It should be here before the end of July

That is one hulluva deal!  I see why you jumped on it.  Must be hard selling trucks lately if they're discounting that much.

No, I have had pick ups with 2wd for over ten years before this one, never had many problems
The worst I ever got stuck has on a field at 401 & Port Union rd,( there is a Shoppers Drug store now)
Was drop a new sign for a job site, the grass was wet, once I took the sign material out of the back, there no weight in the the tires where just spinning. Took a while but I got out

Railton
trade was $5500.00 someplace had the trade as low $2500, and did not care about the cap
So really the trade was probably only 2-3gs, and rest of the price of the truck

Out the door $29,280 included in the price $3,476.23.
Since it the HST , the company it all back, thank you  McGuinty :)

I was going to ask about your older truck as I'm currently looking for something to replace my F150.  Guess it's gone though.

That sounds like a great deal on a great truck. Congrats!

Will yours have the locking rear diff or the limited slip?

Doesn't GM have a fancy schmancy rear end?

I took a quick look and it seems like all the SLTs come with the rear locker. Seems like GM doesn't even offer a traditional limited slip anymore.

2WD with the locker is a great way to go IMO: much cheaper and less to go wrong than 4WD, enough traction for muddy jobsites, and it will still be fine in winter with winter tires and the Stabilitrak for peace of mind.

I tried to talk my wife into 2WD for our Suburban, but didn't get very far. She loves the 4WD, but IMO it's mostly a peace of mind thing again.
