Nice White!  Why is there no x on the badging (328ix)?  BMW not doing that anymore?

X-drive badge is on the side, not the back now.

HIDs?

No upgrades. This is the Classic trim level. Has all I really care about - heated seats and mirrors. Oh yeah, and the sweet 3.0L I6 with manual and xDrive. Still learning how to shift seemlessly from 1st to 2nd and from 2nd to 3rd.

That engine really does sing with the manual. I caught myself turning off the radio AND my favourite AC/DC tracks just to be able to enjoy the other music coming from the engine bay.

The fuel consumption is higher than I had hoped @ ~12.0L of mostly city driving (my commute really sucks driving from Kanata to the East end of Ottawa) but then again, the previous car was the fuel sipping Fit.

I finally felt it first hand what a sports sedan is - cornering, responsiveness, steering and suspension. It's funny how my passengers (unspoiled by previous experience) all grab the handles when I enter than onramp at 80km/h and the bimmer stays totally calm and composed with no body roll. As a family man, I am past the age of reckless driving but knowing what the rig is capable of is nice.

And I am glad the salesman convinced me on the colour. I wanted it black but white hides dust and dirt much better.

Don't sweat the fuel economy too much yet, as it is very new. Takes a few thou KMs to settle in, then check the mileage.

Mind you, you'll never see Fit fuel economy numbers, but then again, you'll be enjoying it, so what do you care?  ;D

Congrats on your new vehicle. IMHO I don't think BMW makes an ugly vehicle. As for the white paint job, awsome!!

I love the facelifted, current gen. 3-series sedan.  Nice front, nice back.  Alpine white goes well with this body style.

The fuel economy will decrease somewhat after a few weeks.  But you still might find yourself stepping on the gas a bit more than with the Fit...   ;D

Very true  :D
Anyone can suggest the best gas station for it? I put half a tank of gas in it last night, and this morning there is a noticeable decline in performance. Is PetroCan 94 any good? It's the most convenient station for me. My other options are Esso, Canadian Tire and Ultramar.
