So I have heard many rumours and claims about this car.  Today in the 'Autos.ca' news section it was announced Canadians can place an order for one for $57 400 (260KM range).  With the Ontario rebate, that puts it under $50 000.  IF this car is reliable and lives up to its claims, it is one hell of a steal IMO.

0-60 = 5.6 seconds (slower in the higher range versions)
Range = 260 km, 370 km or 480 km (depending on which model you buy)
Charge = 45 minutes with the rapid charger (480V I think)
