That's very cool!  I thought I heard that something like that existed.  The only hard part is convincing my lovely wife that I need one so I can take our son for a little spin on the bike.

So, going by your comment, I take it that's your daughter or grand daughter on the bike?  How old was she when she started going for rides on the bike?  Getting picked up at school on Dad's bike is just so much cooler than a school bus!

I don't know...I just wouldn't take the chance.  Especially with the child tethered to you, don't you run the risk of crushing them in the event of a get-off?  Even a relatively minor motorcycle accident could be horrible for a child.
How fast is my Supra?  I sh*t on Cessnas from a roll....

An accident would be horrible for a child, but is you want to take them along this would safer this way

I love riding my motorcycle.  My daughter has been logging some dirtbike time, and she's a natural.  But, no way in hell would I have strapped her to me and gone tandem.  She still hasn't been a passenger.  She's learning to be a pilot and be in charge of her own ride.  It's the only way to go.

I don't know ANY motorcyclists that are okay with being passengers.  I'm not.
No place I'd rather be...
