6 speed manual, 3.73:1 rear, glass roof, premium interior, FAST 18" wheels.

I intentionally didn't want 19 or 20" wheels with our roads, so I went the
aftermarket route to make it look unique.

Really enjoying cruising in this, the sound of 412 V8 horses is addictive!

I'm amazed how much more upscale these are now compared to older versions,
especially the quality look of the optional premium interior. On light throttle its quiet,
however the loud pedal got its name for a reason! BOTH handling and ride are excellent,
and getting both doesn't happen in all cars. The clutch action is perfect and the shifter is
smooth and easy most of the time. However the gates are too narrow and I also guess
the shift mounting plate isn't solid enough for what is required. Time will tell.

People constantly compare this to the M3.  Therefore, you should go get an M3, and I offer to relieve you of the Mustang immediately.  I'll even pay for shipping...    ;D

I'd also pick the 18" wheels.  All the performance of the larger wheels and lower unsprung weight.  The silver colour is especially clean looking and suits the car.

Awesome car!

And I love those wheels too! A real classic look with the thinner spokes, and IMO nothing says "performance" more than a wheel that's just big enough to clear the brake calipers. :thumbup:

Some things I REALLY like about this car...

1. Homage to an older Mustang, but looks new and clean.  Ford came first to the "retro" party, and has done a good job.

2. Look at the creases that intersects the door handle and the lower door line.  Very clean, smooth.  Sometimes less is more.

3. No need for gaudy coloured calipers.  The giant brakes speak for themselves.

4. The combination of black/body colour on the mirrors makes the mirrors look very "racy."  Nice design touch.

5. Notice the bodywork detail around the front fender running light.

6. The simple 5.0 badge harkens to the first "The Mustang is back" 5-liter Mustang on the Fox chassis.  Those cars were the foundation for many hot rods and the "five-oh" moniker means something to Mustang enthusiasts.

Very nice. GREAT wheels.

Rode in my friends new V6 Mustang. Impressed by just how refined the whole experience was. It moves well but I'm sure the GT is bonkers. ;D

Oh, if I could figure out a way to stay married and buy a 2012 GT, I'd do so in a nanosecond.  It's a true high performance car.  The 370Z is another similarly priced sweet ride, but I think I like the GT better.  I know the Camaro is only 2" longer, but for some reason, it looks much bigger.  The proportions of the Mustang make it look smaller.  I wish they were all a little smaller (especially the Camaro) but the Mustang seems to carry its size well.

Honestly, I like the Mustang before, but the increase to 412hp makes this a VERY desirable car.

Mustang is going direct injection, so expect 430+HP next....
