wholly C**P!
« on: May 17, 2011, 08:17:37 pm »
So.... I parked my car last August when the idler pulley on my supercharger exploded taking out coolant lines at the same time.

I fixed it all the next day but then the stars never aligned and I never drove it again.  FINALLY got the thing off my trailer today, took it out on the road for a quick zip just to see if the damn thing still runs properly.

WOWSERS!  I've had the privilege to drive some fast cars since last August, think SLS , R8 V10, SLP Camaro.  But damn my car is FAST!

Gotta love spring when you realize what you have been missing, can't wait to get out on the track this weekend.

Also it reminded me I need a clutch :(

Nice feeling falling for your own car again, isn't it? :)

I thought the Camaro was slowwwwwwwwww! Good to have a fast car that is even faster than a SLS.

Yep.  I was in a turbo S2000, and although it was tons slower than my car, it felt REALLY fast.  I suspect it's because your a$$ is only a few feet off the road and the car itself is tiny...
How fast is my Supra?  I sh*t on Cessnas from a roll....

Good stuff James.  My S2000 feels fast to me so I can only imagine how fast your supercharged S2K feels.

I don't recall seeing any pics of your S2K, got one you can post?

10 inches ... can't be too much cushioning.

Ha I'm probably 5 inched then.  Car is lowered a couple of inches and I  have a race seat mounted on the floor.

I had my small 16s on as well I wonder how much of a difference they make my 17s are a lot bigger and heavier.

Probably 5+ pounds per wheel easy if not more.  245/45/17 vs 205/50/16. Plus wheel difference

Are you small 16s any different from your large 16s?
A subwoofer should only be noticed once it has been turned off.
