I've bought a car.  It will serve as our winter "beater" and light project car.  Parts are ordered and incoming.  I'm hoping to have the car completed within 2 weeks or so.  Will post pics and details once complete.  Until then...feel free to ponder what it could possibly be.  ;)
How fast is my Supra?  I sh*t on Cessnas from a roll....

Do you realize that in about 40 years, we'll have thousands of old ladies running around with tattoos?

Decent guess, TBH.  Vmango was going to look at this one for me:  http://ontario.kijiji.ca/c-cars-vehicles-cars-trucks-1998-Eagle-Talon-TSi-AWD-TURBO-Coupe-need-it-gone-in-2-weeks-W0QQAdIdZ281155642

But I pulled a trigger on another car before he checked it out.

Nice stock unit. What happened that you didn't pull the trigger on it? Better than a TT for sure.

An old WRX?

Another good guess...Vamngo looked at this one for me:  http://ontario.kijiji.ca/c-cars-vehicles-cars-trucks-2004-Subaru-Impreza-WRX-Sedan-W0QQAdIdZ279030595

But I'm not going to reveal which car I bought until it's completed.  :)

You being the Toyota man that you are. My 2nd guess. I mush prefered the 4th gen All Trac but they must be rarer then hens teeth by now.

There were a few of the much better ST205 versions floating around....but they were RHD.  :(

Very good according to Vmango, apart from the car being dirty and a small tear in the drivers seat.  But he said the clutch felt "weird".

Not coming from an IS350....it's the other way around.  The G35X would be a major elevator ride down in terms of interior fit and finish... ;)

I brought a 2007 Honda S2000 home from a dealership on a test drive on Saturday, but the missus freaked out.  I told her I'd keep the Forester for some years to come and blow my car budget on the S2K, but she knew that if I found a cherry Forester or Outback 3.0R, I'd end up buying it, too.  Damn, she knows me too well!

My guess is NOT an S2000.  Nope, none of them are "beaters" but they sure make interesting cars for modding.  No, I'm thinking something a little more "sleeper" in nature.
No place I'd rather be...
