Thanks for all the help. The Land Rover cleaned up ok.

Thanks for all the tips. $150 of products + elbow grease and the the LR3 is looking a lot better. There are still lots of nicks and paint chips as well as some deeper scratches but the hazy swirling is gone.

Basically I used a Poorboys SSR 3,2,1 punch delivered with my Porter Cable and 4" pads.  followed by the PB EX-P and the PB Natty liquid wax.

Good stuff.  The PB's SSR lineup are some decent polishes.  What colour pads did you use with your PC?

And I agree with Weexy, one pic???? C'mon man, you can do better than that!   ;D

It's been hailing alternating with rain for the past three days, hence the garage pic.

Pads? I used a yellow with the SSR #3, orange with the #2 and a white with the #1. The EX-P sealant was layered on with a black foam pad and the rest done by hand.

It's still raining and now it is dark so no more pics. Here were the before pics. The SSR #3 took these out quick.

^ Your paint was in pretty harsh shape.  Great job on turning it around!

Yeah is was in tough shape. Looks like the previous owner used the gravel encrusted foamy brush to give it a good scrubbing.
