Professional Detailer in K/W
« on: April 29, 2011, 09:39:49 am »
Can anyone recommend one? I know about A1 but I'm not sure about their quality and I don't want some teenager test driving my car.

I'd like to bring my car in for the full works and get it looking great inside and out when the weather gets nicer. My front end has been hit hard with stone chips/crud/scuffs.

If only our friend out East was a little closer....  :D

If you don't mind traveling to the GTA, I can't possibly recommend Kevin Hamill enough who owns GTA in Detail.  Without a doubt one of the best detailers in North America.

Thanks Canuck....I'll look into it. His prices (certainly for a wash and wax) are quite reasonable compared to the "big shops" here in town.

I have all the equipment and supplies.  I can show you how to do it.  You can even borrow my stuff.  It's not THAT hard to get professional results.  I believe you could do it.
How fast is my Supra?  I sh*t on Cessnas from a roll....

Even Vman can do it?  You have met him, haven't you?  Small hands...smells like cabbage.    ;) ;)

Seriously Vman, Justin has got all the professional gear.  I'm sure he'd be happy to do it with you for another chance to beat on the WRX   :skid:

Does this chap have a mobile service?
Does he fix stone chips (1 or 2) as part of the process/price of detail?
What about paintless dent repair? (No, I still don;t have that done yet) ::)

I find it's more about time than anything else.  I'd gladly pay a few hundred dollars for a professional job, I just don't have the time.

It's time for me. Of course I can do it but after a brutal week the last thing I find I want to do is 6 hour detail.

Well, no idea how long. Bob saw the state of my paint. It needs some good work and a great seal.

Is that from Bob's new special rig the reason your paint is weak?   ;D

Yes, he offers a mobile service.  I am honestly not sure if he fixes paint chips or dent repair but you can certainly email or call him and find out.  Like I mentioned earlier, his work is nothing short of top notch and one of the best in the business.

Have a free seal.
