Good Question. Both of those seem to be getting a little long in the tooth. Anyone heard anything?

Not much... except that the Veracruz may not be long for this world. The rumor is that the Santa Fe will come with a 7 seater configuration. It may in fact be a stretched Santa Fe and have a slightly different body to go with that.

I guess Hyundai is hoping to get a tiny bit more life out of the current gen Santa Fe. I see the refreshed version, that they put out last year, nearly everywhere.

....and thus why we didn't lease another Santa Fe.  a)  No one has a clue what the 2012s will look like and whether they'll be a simple holdover while something really different debuts mid year and b) everyone has one.  We don't feel so special anymore!   :D
Opinions are like noses; everyone has one.

the only thing I've found so far is:

Hyundai Santa Fe
2013 Hyundai Santa Fe: After a face-lift in 2010, the Santa Fe will most likely have to wait until 2012 for a full redesign. .

Hyundai Veracruz
2013 Hyundai Veracruz: This three-row crossover may be discontinued in favor of an all-new, more luxurious crossover with a new name.

The Veloster should be here within the next couple of months.

Sister just picked on up.  The deals on the 2011 Santa Fe is unreal.  They seem to be blowing them out the door right now as if an all new model would be coming out for 2012.  I do know no more 2011 Santa Fe's are being built.

0% for 84 months on all Santa Fe's right now.  A FWD 276HP V6 GL can be had for less then $400 a month  :o

Did you try the Sorento?  It is a little more updated and I assume the direction the next Santa Fe will head in.

OK class, let's spell it out: D-U-M-P-I-N-G

Definition: dumping is defined as the act of a manufacturer in one country exporting a product to another country at a price which is below the price it charges in its home market.

My dealer hinted me they might have a new Fe to show this August.

Judging by those spy shots, tt looks like Hyundai's design language for their SUVs is going to contine with that swept up greenhouse/sheet metal at the C-Pillar.  Looks nice but it causes blind spots.  Function is definitely following form here.

No matter since we've already decided on another vehicle to replace our Santa Fe but I'm wondering if a few leaked spyshots from Hyundai itself might have fueled interest in the new model, possibly causing people like ourselves who were recently on the cusp of deciding on a new vehicle to wait instead.  God knows that it wouldn't have affected sales of the current model as I've seen them everywhere.  That's one popular SUV!

It does look that way yes. I guess we'll see when they finally reveal it. Hyundai has cut a very careful edge between function and form and sometimes they have gotten it right and sometimes not. I did test drive a Hyundai Tucson with the family at one point and the slanted up windows actually didn't bother me all that much. The ONLY SUV in that segment that doesn't restrict the view somehow with either a misplaced pillar or some sort of styling feature is the Subaru Forrester and even then those windows weren't that useful to me.

It's on sale in Korea.

New lights, grille, dual exhaust. Rims are a shame imo.

That's the current generation with some KDM specific grill and rims. The new one hasn't been revealed yet. We actually got a refreshed model for the current model year and I've seen a ton of them selling. So if they are getting the 2012 essentially unchanged then maybe this one will last another year and 2013 will be when the new one comes out.
