Thanks.  I've actually had it for three weeks, but the weather's finally been nice enough to do a photo shoot  :)
I posted it on Hyundai Forums as well and our American friends are already grousing about their lack of accessories, namely the chrome exhaust tip.

Yeah, the chrome-accented shifter is only available on the Canadian GLS: the L & GL don't get it, and as far as I know the American version doesn't get it at all.
Thanks for the compliments everyone  ;D

Wild guess here, but they won't be buying the manual transmission?  I like the manual, but at the same time I've heard nothing but good things about the automatic.
The ride of the Elantra is great: soaks up the bumps just fine and is happy cruising around at low rpms.  In fact, I find myself driving in general in a more conservative, laid back manner, mainly in the interest of increasing fuel economy.  C'est la vie  ;D
There's a TSB (not a recall) to adjust the throttle input, which should hopefully get rid of the irritating throttle delay.

This is a forum dedicated to the new Elantra: her parents could probably find everything they want to know about it there.

Hyundai poached some serious design talent.  Until not that long ago their metal was practical and great value if a little bland.  Not so now!!
