How do you polish the matte black bodywork?

It's paint, so you polish as normal.

Those pics show a really nice Chevelle but for $90K he should have paid someone to take out the aftermarket stuff from the interior.

I'm not familiar enough with these cars to know what is factory and what is aftermarket.  What is aftermarket in the interior?

It's paint, so you polish as normal.

I can see waxing to "protect", but a "polish" will make anything matt, less matt and more shiny.

The finish on my BMW GS Adventure is a semi-gloss. All I use on it is a spray wax.
What you won't find in my car is a coffee, cigarette and a cell phone. What you will find is a driver; imagine that, a driver in a vehicle. What an effing concept!

A car has to do more than just perform; it has to stir your soul!

A true driver's car does not have cup holders.

The black on Chevelle isn't matte, it's gloss.

Makes sense then. What matt black was someone talking about?

I was obviously talking about the Camaro, you can see the matte black stripes in the pics.

2010 Camaro came out nice... but the lack of wheel well dressing really sticks out like a sore thumb  :-[

Yep, both sets. The ones hanging under the dash are bad enough, but the massive ricey tachometer on the column is just a disaster. And though the pic isn't big enough to be certain, there is something else orangey-red near it that didn't come from Oshawa in '70 either.

Like I mentioned in my OP, I had to go back the next day to finish the detail......in which the wheel wells were done on day two.  Boars hair brush, simple green, and Poorboys Bold N Bright were used.

Gotcha, I though you were talking about the Chevelle, not the Camaro.  The black on the Camaro is essentially matte black body decals in which I didn't touch with the Flex.  The decals were taped off with detailing tape while I used the Flex and the 0106FF.  I simply sealed the decals with the FMJ and topped off with the Orange Crush.  Using a machine and an aggressive polish on a decal wouldn't make for a happy owner.   :)
