Infiniti, at the NY Auto Show this week, is launching their IPL G Concept for the first time in NA.  IMO, it looks great and would rock one of these any day of the week.

Very nice. Always thought the G37 Cabrio was a really good piece of work esp. compared to the IS.

However, and this baffles me, you cannot get a 6MT version with red leather interior. Only the Auto.

Yeah, the red leather is only available on the Premier Edition, which unfortunately is the 7AT only.  Hopefully the IPL convertible will fix that.

Found another picture of the red leather in the IPL G convert.  I can see me possibly picking up one of these at some point to replace the S2000.

Yeah, the red leather is only available on the Premier Edition, which unfortunately is the 7AT only.  Hopefully the IPL convertible will fix that. 

The leather is 50% of the appeal of this car for me over the vanilla G37S.

Story of my car-search life.  Thanks to BMW, it seems everyone thinks that MTs mean "sporty"...thus, they must have a black interior.
