My 07 SRX had decent reliability rankings from CR after year one as well. It was after 3-4 years that all the black dots started to appear so I guess we'll have to wait and see. In my case it's "once bitten twice shy"

You are not the only one.  One of my biggest detailing customers is the owner of McKay Construction and his SRX (2007) has been far from reliable and has been in the shop countless times.  Also, my cousin is a local well known real estate agent (Tim Somerville) and has a 2008 SRX.....again, nothing but issues with it.  Unfortunately Sailor, you are not the only one with an SRX that has had issues.

Funny you should mention that. A repair order/estimate for Tim's car was under my RO on the service advisor's desk the last time I picked my car up at Brett's.

It was at least two pages and wasn't warranty

Too funny!!  Yeah, Tim has had nothing but issues with his SRX......no surprising that it was at least two pages thick.  He's doing everything now to get rid of it.
