This is supposedly the 2013 Lexus GS 350 that will officially be revealed in a few days. Still slightly disguised, and shot through a fish-eye which distorts it,but you get the overall look and shape.  Where are the concept car's lines?

Ugh. That looks like a Malibu to me...

Good cost cutting execution IMO.

It looks both generic and unattractive at the same time. That isn't easy.

Pretty easy to do when it's basically styled after the previous gen Malibu...  ;)

The Korean's BOUGHT the Germans and convinced them to design cars for them :)

I was looking at the pictures thinking Infinity actually rather than Kia or Audi.

It's official now I guess. The official pictures do make it look quite good but not as well refined as some of the Audi's I've been seeing. I'm sure mechanically it's going to be typical Lexus solid and the interior looked aweful to me at first but on second look I like the sporty steering wheel. The wheel is the single most important thing to me... the rest of it... is fine.

Me too.  They had this colour in the previous TL...unless you wanted a stick of course...then you had to have black.

I rather like the interior. The front I could live with, and, in time, get used to. The back is ruined by the tail lights.
Everything in life is relative.

My thoughts exactly....maybe they knew people wouldn't like that it wasn't like the show car, so they leaked those ugly photos I posted to create panic....then they reveal the real car and people say "Well, that's better"  :foil:

The official photos look pretty good. I like the typical GS proportions with long rear overhang. The larger wheels and lower stance just make the difference because I think with smaller wheels and more wheel gap it'd be much more ordinary - a 7/8ths LS. The interior really appeals to me though - it's somewhat jumbled but I like the details, colours, placements, and how luxuriously it all comes together. It's a clean and tasteful Japanese take on a German business sport luxury atmosphere (if that makes sense to anyone but me).

This is Lexus' 3rd or 4th go at finding success with GS. With this model at first glance they've gotten the formula right to me.
