Mercedes A class coming to NA?

ok here is an interesting little news item.  http://www.leftlanenews.com/mercedes-benz-concept-a-class.html  if it's being shown at the new york auto show does that mean it's coming?

Car and Driver is confirming that it is on it's way over here.  Hopefully the 350HP AMG version comes too!

The article seems to imply the current A and B Class will fuse into a Newer A Class alone.
