Look at how Ford and Vauxhall are doing in the UK. I knew they were always strong sellers and that the UK loves Ford, but what a domination. Note what is missing from the top ten. Anything Honda, Toyota or Hyundai. Every market is different; just like how Suzuki is massive in Japan sales (thank you kei cars)
Before someone posts 'But Euro Ford/GM is different then American Ford/GM' let me say this. In the past there was a huge difference. Now a days with cars being more global, the difference has shrunk considerably. However, what is just as true now as it was back then, end of the day, all the money boosts the company who has its headquarters in Detroit.
http://www.autotrader.co.uk/articles/2011/04/cars/car-buyers-choose-greener-carsThe top ten sellers in March 2011:

• Vauxhall Corsa – 13,556
• Vauxhall Astra – 10,704
• Volkswagen Golf – 10,282
• Vauxhall Insignia – 7,826
• Volkswagen Polo – 7,634
• Peugeot 207 – 7,189

On that note, hey GM, when do we get the Corsa instead of the Aveo/Sonic?
