The 2007 Santa Fe has to be returned on July 14th at lease's end.  The tires absolutely have to be replaced as they are at their tread wear indicators despite only seeing 35,000 km service.  They are Bridgestone Dueller IIs, btw.  The vehicle had winter tires on it, too, and they look good after about 45,000 km total service (4 winters).

So...I have to buy tires for just over 3 months duty.  Recommendations for something black, round, rubber and 235/60R18 in size that are relatively cheap?
Opinions are like noses; everyone has one.

I can't believe I'm saying this but have you checked Hercules for your size?

edit

Have you tried checking Kijiji for used?....or maybe salvage yards?

Tire shops get new OEM's in on trade from people who quickly put on something more decent. We did that with all our work trucks.

That or just leave the winters on.

You and Blur911 had the same idea.  The listing he quoted is pretty close to where I live, too.  Stay tuned and thanks.

...as long as they have a smooth, no bump ride I'm good!

I'll see what I can find.  Good tip.  Unfortunately the winter tires are mounted on steelies and a different size.

You should read your lease to be sure what the requirements are for turn-in.  I've heard that some leases require OEM grade tires.

Buy a set of used tires.  Many tire dealers sell perfectly go used tires or "take offs".
How fast is my Supra?  I sh*t on Cessnas from a roll....

Yeah.  My Hyundai dealer is on the look out for some take-offs for me.  They've "dubbed" a few Santa Fe's lately....

Picking up some take offs from the dealer tomorrow.  <5000 km on them for $450 for the set.
