New rubber for Nissan X-Trail
« on: April 01, 2011, 03:29:32 am »
Looking for new tires for my X-Trail that came with 215/65/16 96H Bridgestones. I have winters BTW.

Looking at Michelin Latitude tour HP H rated and possible Hydroedge 98T rated. The Hydroedge seems to get great ratings - better than the Latitude however only come in a T rating. Not sure why the X-Trail was spec'd with H rating when CRV with same tire during that era came with T rated tires.
Also kinda looking at Yoko Envigours on the fringe.

Thanks for your opinion.

just put new rubber on the wifes Xtrail, she has the Adventure so they were 215 60 17, like you they were H speed rated , but I bought a set of Falkens with a T rating, no biggy according to 1010 where I bought them. I went Falkens this time because of the high UTQG rating, because it ate through the last set of Toyo Versado's I put on it..
