In the trunk, under the carpet where it's supposed to be as per the manual.I don't want to be on the site of the road without it. Not fun.

Glove box. If someone breaks in my car to get it, I suspect they are looking to steal not just the wheels, but the car itself.
The best place to keep your LUG nut key is in the garbage. I have had three of these stupid things strip. When I got the nut off I replace them with a nut. Talk to mecanics they hate these things. You all do realize that any self respecting wheel thief has the lug nut remover which will remove these? You can buy them a Pricess Auto.
Spline drive nuts are the only option IMO. Every nut is basically a lock nut. Would be tough to steal without the master...I keep mine in my locked glove box.

Do you think a locked glovebox is going to stop him? Hell that is just the reason he needs to @#$% up the dash to open the box.
I also took off the locking bolts on the Prius
