The ride is very composed as they say in the biz and controlled. Aggressive driving will not be it's strong point, but at least if it came to an emergency manouvre, it could handle it. It feels big and cushy, bigger than the Acadia even though it is smaller overall. Second row seats are fixed so Acadia wins in that area.
But golly is it ever quiet. Noise pollution is not a problem for this puppy. You hear very little outside noise.
Ford has also added electric power steering so be careful with your inputs. You learn quickly that a little moves a lot and being in the oncoming lane is easily done.

Then again it has Advance Track stability control, Curve Control and Roll Stability Control so if you forget about that input, there are enough "safe systems" to prevent you from ending up with stupid on your face.
It feels bigger than it is. It is shorter and lighter than the Acadia. Perhaps the wide hood and side posts contribute to that. Gas mileage is rated the same for AWD and here the good news is with the systems all in place and for most people FWD might be all you need and pocket the savings. I got the AWD.
So for likes and dislikes:
Like the ride and the quiet. Steering control is precise. Looks good and really like power rear hatch for those rainy/snowy days (like today?) Like the MFT even though I have not mastered everything yet - it hooked up my phone and phone book and is great to use. I'll post some things on MFT in a different post.
Dislikes - rear second row seating space or in this case less than what I had. Rear back up sensor was better from GM - it had lights in the ceiling so you could see how close you were getting before red came on and triggered the beeping - Ford is just progressive beeping- yucky. Also entering the vehicle you are greeted with a chime that I wish would go away (maybe it can after I learn a bit more)
That it so far - now I will try and resize a few pics and post them too - never good at that so wish me luck.
