A car to show off
« on: March 25, 2011, 08:25:50 pm »
Hello everyone,

It's been a while since I last visited. Wow, what happened to this site. It sure looks different. Here is my 2007 MX5 I picked up in January with 24,000 km.

It's a Galaxy Grey Mica, 5 speed with ac and vinyl top. So far this year, I managed to drive top down once (actually last week). It sure gave me a big grin! It's such an agony to see it sit in my garage while the weather in Missisauga ON has been snow and cold.

Having driven a Subaru Impreza wagon and a mini van last 6 years, this is such a step up for me in terms of driving performance.

Enjoy the pics.

Steven

You're in Mississauga, not Calgary?  Congrats on a really cool ride.

Thanks everyone.

Jaeger,
I should update my location in my Profile from Calgary to Mississauga.
Yeah, I left Calgary a little over a year ago for work reasons.

I can't wait for the winter blues to go away for more open air driving. I had a great mechanic in Calgary (Juan at Nürburgring in calgary) and I was fortunate enough to find a great Miata mechanic in Oakville who specilizes just in Miatas. (Dave at Dave's garage)

Congrats on the car!  Looks like we can expand an upcoming Oakville meet to include a Miata!

Very nice! That is a different colour to what you see on most Miatas.

Very nice, enjoy it!  I had a 1990.  It's the only car I've truly regretted selling.

Great car. Looks good in galaxy grey. These cars bring  a smile to your face every time you drive them. I just took mine out of storage last weekend.
Spring is here. Enjoy  ;)
