Ford Mustang BOSS 302 Laps Laguna Seca
« on: March 08, 2011, 02:52:47 pm »
Motor Trend got the Mustang around Laguna Seca faster then the R8 or the M3.  It is a fast track that rewards torque, but still impressive.

If you don't like the soundtrack during the hot lap......you don't like cars.

Impressive indeed. Shows how a lot of development can turn around a supposedly inferior design.

Love it!!!  Very impressive indeed!  Certainly no complaints here on the soundtrack, I could get used to listening to that every day!

If anyone gets SpeedChannel, they had a 1 hour special on the building, tuning and testing of these cars.  Worth the watch IMO.

And this wasn't even the Laguna Seca version sportsfans.  I don't like the orange...and it doesn't have Sync...so I'm out.   ;D

I read a road test report somewhere that they'd put the "normal" key in that drawer where you put "stuff"...and use the sport key all the time...sounds way better!

Very nice!  Thanks for posting.

The Mustang is a near perfect blend of old school retro and new school goodies.   Now if only they offered it with flappy paddles too...

Wonderful car!  That guy didn't seem like he way trying much though.

Is the splitter road legal in Canada?

Doubt it...but looks like you could get away with it

The splitter is shipped with the car. You, or the dealership, slap it on. At least that was what I had heard.

Isn't Topgun getting one of these? ;D

I suspect the new GT-R will fix that.  ;)...(and the "new" Z06 with Carbon package beat the Mustang)

What would be illegal about the splitter?    splitter= front airdam yes?

Sights and sounds of the Boss302S testing.  Sounds great at 2:15!

Oh...and BTW...here's the car configure tool on the US Ford site!   ;D
