I dunno - it's a travesty. Why isn't this on Speed?

My dream Sundays in the summer is flipping between an ALMS race and a Jays game.....man, life is good  ;)

So I guess we in Canada can watch it on the ALMS website, but the states has to watch on it on an obscure ESPN channel (assuming you have the package that includes it or your carrier even has the channel).  Otherwise you are SOL in the USA.

Thanks for the link, Mike.

Stoopid ALMS. I'm supposed to figure how to get this onto a big screen and run around spending money to do so? Not for these clowns.

Atherton admitted the car count after Sebring is low, but expects it to improve. Ya, right. What an idiot, a dreamer or con man. ALMS is on life support.

It's on ABC and ESPN...which means it SHOULD be on Canada's sports channel, no??

I spent the last half hour looking for a Canadian TV for the ALMS race and there's nothing. We're stuck watching it online.....on just about every car enthusiast site there are TONS of guys pissed and complaining.

I absolutely cannot believe I can't watch this on TV. The SPEED coverage wasn't great (cutting a chunk out of racing for freakin' NASCAR practice) but at least I could watch it on TV.

So frustrating. I would just LOVE a channel that would give me some racing series...WRC, F1, ALMS, SCCA.....

This is just brutal.

Glad I have my US DSS going.....:)

It says on ALMS site that a Canadian broadcasting agreement is going to be finished up shortly...

Feedback from watching qualifying online. In a word, hopeless.

The volume level was so low and had to be cranked way up, forgot to shut down my e-mail and the incoming notification sound just about blew the speakers. Video quality was horrible, like "ancient" analog on a digital TV! Expand the video size from default to full screen? Or try to run the internet video through a big screen TV? Don't waste your time or money. And the video feed periodically stuttered and even froze a few times - had to exit and restart.

Bush league.

I was watching the race online, and its hopeless. Frequent stalling in the feed, the volume level still too low like yesterday.

Yeah - I've been watching it too. Regardless of what anyone says, this is not the same as getting in on my glorious HD TV.

The sound is poor and the resolution too.

TurboBob and I have talked about possibly road-tripping our way down to the Petit LeMans at Rd Atlanta in late Sept.  Getting there will truly be half the fun.

Nah, we've thought about renting something moderately interesting.  Or taking the Genesis which also 'seats 4'.  ;)
