Topic: Good place in GTA to get a car painted

Hey there,

I'm slowly watching my Mazda Protege5's body deteriorate from stone chips and rust, and I've decided I need to have something done about it. The car is in great mechanical condition, and while I don't want to spend a fortune on a paint job, I know if I do this I can expect the car to look good and last another 3-5 years with a little work here and there.

Question is, are there any good places around the GTA to get a car painted for a reasonable price? If it means investing $5,000 I won't do it, but I'm hoping there are shops around that will do it for less and do a good job. I live in Georgetown, so anywhere near Brampton/Mississauga would be ideal but I would travel anywhere in the GTA for good work.

Please help! If you have a suggestion, let me know.

*Just looked up Maaco, they seem cheap but would it be any good?

Maaco..for what U want..................3 year cosmetic jobbie.......prolly OK.......maybe do a lot of the PREP WORK,,,the real hard part yerself....and U could save a bunch..then let the pros apply the paint................ask around it's quite the skill doing a smooth even paint job...........I once repainted my old Standard 10...after 5 minutes...and enuf orange peel to feed a buncha Limeys...i handed the gun back to the real painter,,,,,,PICASSO
