Behavioral Type "I" for Ironman
« on: February 09, 2011, 09:08:01 am »
Ironman Type "I" - not to be confused with a Type "A".
"I" just booked our next vacation, it will be Ironman Arizona and you will have a great time!
"I" have to go for a ride.
"I" I have to go for a run.
"I" have to go for a swim.
"I" can't fix the toilet right now, "I" have to meet up for a group ride.
"I" can't eat that, "I" have to keep my body fat index below 3.
"I" am too tired, "I" have to go to bed.
"I" have to get up at 4:00 to be at the pool.
"I" can't wash your car, "I" have to clean the drive train on my $5,000 bike.
"I" just purchased new wheels for $2,000

Having done many cycling event and some up to 200kms I can honestly say these Ironman people are just plain crazy. I have never finished my long ride thinking that I should now run a marathon.

Are you coming out of retirement?

Either you are so much impress from Iron-man or you have to compete with him. Try to learn only good things from him and avoid ego.
