Mine is a CAAD8 so I might be ok on this one....will double check though.
A subwoofer should only be noticed once it has been turned off.

Switch'em out for a set of Race Face and call it a day.

Better yet, sell the Cannondale entirely for a Specialized or Norco.

The problem lies in the crank arm and only appears when the installation is not done right, nothing to do with the frame set.
