If you can pay $30,000 + for a non-hybrid Focus, I cringe at the thought of what the C-Max is gonna cost. I don't think too many young families will pay a huge premium for this vehicle when cheaper - not to mention proven - alternatives exist.

And you can also pay over $37,000 for a Prius.  ;)

^^ :o Wow, that's a facking insane amount of money to pay for an appliance. Hopefully the C-Max has more personality than the soulless Prius. If that's the case and the C-Max is priced substantially less than that car, Ford might have a winner. We'll see soon enough, but I'm not betting on it.

That's not a base model (they are around $27k Canadian). That's a bells and whistles model... and I wouldn't be surprised if the top end C-Max is around that territory too. Especially with a few extra thousand for it's hybrid system.
