The new front end seems to work better on the coupe than the sedan for me.  ;D

That does look rather nice. :heart:

But as to the 2 door Merc thing...when pulled up next to a SL, CL, or even an E-Coupe driver will they (or worse, I) question my worthiness, wealth, or manhood? :) Better to get a G37 and just be a commoner hooligan?

2012 Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG Coupe Official Debut
Driver’s can expect a 0-60 mph time of 4.4 seconds while being electronically limited to 155 mph in stock trim in the C63 AMG Coupe

it's a nice clean design but the bmw 3 series coupe just seems to have made a stronger statement by making it's design more distinctive  from it's sedan counterpart.

C250 = $39,900
C350 = $49,200
C63 AMG = $66,900

About the same price as the sedan, was originally expecting at least a 10% premium over the sedan.

I've driven the C63 sedan, and it is ROWDY.  Tire melting torque and crazy roll-on performance.  It's not a precision tool, but if you like sledgehammers, it's a good choice.

No need to option out the AMG, either.  Also, they're not fast sellers, so if you really want one, bide your time.  My friend paid $60K flat for his.  For 0-100km/h in 4.5sec, that's tough $$/performance to beat.

Interesting.  I just checked out the website and several things do come standard.  And this is a new model.  Not bad, not bad at all....

If you don't need the extra stuff and just want a giant sledgehammer the base model looks excellent at $66k... But its an AMG, which means its still a Merc, which means (IMHO) you at least need the luxo goodies in the Premium Pkg (Nav, HK Stereo, some other stuff)

58% with 18K/yr after 3 years for the C63 AMG Coupe.
That residaul is higher than the equivalent C63 AMG sedan.

And it is even higher on the C250 and C350 coupes.

Been reading more about the new AMG coupe.

Wow, interior is much improved (attached pics)

Great reviews

And residuals are crazy high.

Only thing is I think the sedan looks better than the coupe.

Very interesting.......  So, when are you picking one up mmret?  Maybe I'll come along for a test drive with ya.   :P
