Another vehicle gone the way of the do-do.  Available in the US but not Canada.

Another vehicle that many liked but that very few actually bought.  It may be reborn as a more utilitarian CR-V.

"Confirming an earlier report, Honda announced today that its quirky, slow-selling Element will be discontinued after the 2011 model year.
...
Although the Honda CR-V is in its last model year in its current generation, it’s expected that Honda will offer a more lifestyle-oriented model based on the next-generation CR-V.

Don’t look for the Element name to return, since Honda might try to capitalize on the strong market presence of its hot-selling CR-V. However, Element cues like a tall and roomy interior and utilitarian touches seem likely to return on a reborn model."

Why is this in Used Cars / Trucks and SUVs?

Ya...are we north americans really into this out of the norm stuff?  I know I am, I drive a Juke ;)  I think vehicles like this are very much to the taste of our euro friends, but us?  We like our mastodontes, right?

Let's debate.... ;D

Maybe it is a "used to be" Element?   :)   I don't see many  Elements on the roads here.   CR-Vs seem to be everywhere.

Another one bites the dust for Honda. Now all they need to do is ax the Ridgeline.
I like manual transmissions better than automatics because I like to drive rather than be driven.

...Available in the US but not Canada.

Not surprising that it sold poorly here.   It's really expensive compared to in the US, and in the CUV market, it needed to be priced more aggressively to compete.  Neat concept, poor marketing execution.
No place I'd rather be...
