Since the APR is 0% invest the downpayment and make some money on it. There is no point in making a downpayment if the cost of borrowing is nil.

Invest or put it in savings account, it will cost you less even though the monthly rate will be higher.

well the above plainly states you are financing $25K OR $35K at 0% after downpayment of $5k on either CX model.....(costing $30K  CX7 and $40K CX9 respectively .......................so as always the best deals go to the CASH customer with $5K burning a hole in their pocket.....................

Doesn't seem set in stone by that terminology. Your dealer can clear that up for you though  Are you thinking of a CX7?

When I sat down with the manager to finalize the paperwork she asked me how much I was going to put down to which I said "nothing, @ 0% it doesn't make sense to put any money down". I did have an "oh crap" moment there thinking she may point out that the 0% had strings attached but she moved on to the undercoating and paint sealant fleecing questions.
