Not only is Rossi the best rider in the paddock, but he and Jeremy Burgess can develop a bike like no other.  Rossi developed the RC211V so well, that Nick won the title on it.  Ditto with the M1.  Lorenzo would not have been able to win on the M1 had it not been so fully developed by Rossi and Burgess.
