Detailing a Ferrari 458
« on: November 05, 2010, 03:45:58 pm »
Interesting account of a lengthy & meticulous detailing of a 458.
It's amazing how poor the finish was straight from the factory - orange peel i'd be pissed to see on a Hyundai Accent!

Warning - have a drool bucket handy for the 'after' pics... OMG that thing is stunning in black

Man, I wouldn't even wanna know what something like that would cost. Stunning work.

Says in his notes  "over the course of 5 days and more than 60 hours of intensive labour.."
Maybe he gave the Ferrari owner a break on the rate & charged oh say, $50K for the job??   :o

Still though, looking at the after pics, you could convince me 'it's worth it'

Almost makes me want a black car again...almost.

Can't believe I'm saying that the Italia looks way better in black than it does in red or yellow.
If it flies, floats or f#%&s...rent it.

That's a lot of money to spend on a car that's just going to burn to the ground anyway. ;D
