Chrysler Must have been Aware
« on: November 05, 2010, 12:10:39 am »
When they Built the 2.7 Litre v6. The Unusually large Oil Capacity of 5 Litres Coupled with an Oil Filter the size  of  what would be used in an Engine 3 times that Size has the Appearance

of desperation and Futility when they realized their incompetence.

The 2.6 Engine has Inadequate and Restrictive Oil Drillways that Restrict the Lubrication System in much the same way as Restrictive Arteries do in Cardiovascular Disease in Humans.

It is the Epitome of Idiocy on the Part of Chrysler to believe that more Oil and a Bigger Filter would solve that problem  any more than more BLOOD would solve the Lack of Circulation of Patients with Clogged Arteries.

I'm Not Sure what your Point Is.  Are you Trying To Say that perhaps the Chrysler engine is Not Designed Well?

I find it rather Hard to Follow, with the Random Capitalization of various Words for No Apparent Reason.

I get it.  Don't buy the 2.7.  OK.  They don't make it anymore anyway.

More oil the better.  I have a 3 litre/4 banger that holds just under 7 liters and has an oil filter larger than a 2010 6.0 Chevy/GMC 3/4 ton.

The oil filter on my wife's 2.4 Camry is about the size of my left nut.  :D

Since  We're hijacking This thread and comparing Oil filters I'll show You mine.  ;D

The one on the left is from a 3.0L flat-6 with 12 litres of oil. The 2 on the right are for a 3.0L flat-six with 6 litres of oil, the smaller one is OE, they're tiny because they sit close to the exhaust, any larger and they actually add heat.
