Topic: Will my winter tyres fit on a Versa?

I have a set of winter tyres (2008 Sentra S) that are 205/55R16 (not on rims). We're buying a 2010 Versa SL which has all-seasons that are 185/65R15 tyres. If I buy rims for the winter tyres, will they fit the Versa?

The diameter difference is within the recommended 3% but the Sentra tire is 3/4" wider.  So ( ignoring load ratings) the question becomes: Is there room for that extra width on a set of wheels that fit the Versa.
You might find that they'd hit the wheel arch inside or outside when you turned the steering to full lock.

If it fits, this is the kind of switch more appropriate of a summer performance application than a winter option for your Versa in typical Ottawa snow and slush.

I'd stay with the stock size.
