2001 civic headlight troubles

hey,
 i have a 2001 honda civic with aftermarket headlights in it. i tried everything but my bulbs are dim on the left side. i switched the relay and im still having the same problem. is it worth while to change the drl mod? i checked inside it and theres a few brown spots and i fixed it but could it still be the problem ?

Check to make sure you have a good ground on that headlight first. It's possible the DRL module is causing the problem, but more likely a bad ground.
