Volume Button on Steering Wheel

Althought it works now I'm just trying to find out what might have happened. Last night I was driving and was using both of my auxiliary power outlets.  The volume down on my steering wheel worked but the volume up wouldn't.  Today everything seems fine.

Dust particle or something. Contact got cleaned, its working now.
