WTF?  My Forester and I would smash that record without trying too hard!  I just need some cool racing stripes first.  Oh, and some rad Hercules...
No place I'd rather be...

Just imagine how fast it would have been with the engine in the right place!

Hcrv I was just reading down the list and commenting on what I have seen on uk roads.

Bob, its just a matter of what one is willing to accept as a daily driver.

For example, as great a handler as an Exige is, I saw a used one parked at the local dealer and peering into it, all I could think was "no thanks".

I like cars that are go-carts with a roof (as I call them), but your definition and mine may be different.

You may like yours more focused; so do I, but not at an expense of real world function. Therefore I probably like mine a little less focused.

And in the end, since I have owned motorcycles that are very focused, that aspect wears thin in a while. Can you imagine an F1 car as a daily driver? I couldn't...in Manhatten.  ;D
What you won't find in my car is a coffee, cigarette and a cell phone. What you will find is a driver; imagine that, a driver in a vehicle. What an effing concept!

A car has to do more than just perform; it has to stir your soul!

A true driver's car does not have cup holders.

The best part about those "Nurburgring" YouTube videos is getting a great ride around it and taking in some nice scenery...and all for FREE.  :)

You seem to be missing the point, I don't care what you would consider as a daily driver.  I was just stating facts.

Do you mean Hercules Tires G5000Z (215/40ZR17). You should call many dealers to ask about inflation for flotation! ;D

As you seem to be missing mine and those of a few others...its hardly a "production" car.

I don't care what the UK wants to call it. Politics were involved, no doubt, and a few quid (can you tell I went to school there...LOL) were slipped under the table. Can it meet MOT standards anywhere else? If not, set the standard on a British track...Silverstone or Brands Hatch...IF anybody else would bother coming.

Citroen C6 can't meet the MOT criteria in Canada. Doesn't mean it isn't a production car.

Whatever. You're opinion doesn't decide what is and isn't a road car... And again, I agree on the "production" thing as the volumes are low, can't you read I keep talking about "road" car?  ::)  And judging by some of the cars I have seen on the road in North America, the UK MOT standards are pretty strict.
