My present Miata is stock, engine wise, but I was able to overheat the brakes during my last track day (Mission Raceway in Mission, B.C. is very hard on brakes - short course with lots of corners). I pulled my Axxis brake pads and installed new rotors and Carbotech track pads (XP8s). I also switched to ATE Super Blue brake fluid. My next track day is tomorrow.
