Please help
« on: August 01, 2010, 09:54:00 pm »
Hey everyone.

First I would like to thank everyone who can take the time to give me advice.

I just bought a 2007 gmc sierra and wanted to get it protected. I went and had the diamond kote protection package done (paint protection, undercoating, rust module(DK 9000) and fabric protection). After I had this done I noticed the side box panels were not under coated. I called the dealer who applied the product. Apparently diamond Kote does not warranty truck beds.

So I am on the hook for $1000.00 (my own fault for not doing proper research on the products)

Is there anything I can do to protect the rest of my truck without voiding there "Warranty"?

I mean now the bed of my truck is pretty much unprotected.   :(

I'd be surprised if that Diamond Kote "warranty" is worth the paper it's printed on, so I wouldn't worry about voiding it.

I'm not really sure what your question is, but if you now want to have some kind of bed liner applied, I'd just go ahead and do it.

Well at least you know who to blame and you are right. To pay that much money and not know what was being done -----well now you know.

So if I understand your question about getting the panels sprayed and the warranty, I would go back to Diamond and ask them the question and then go from there, afterall they have your money and need to do something for it .
